Everything I’m building, on one page.
Twenty-five tools, all built in the gaps around a full-time Head
of IT role. Real status, not a highlight reel: idea, prototype, in progress, beta
or live, and nothing gets called further along than it actually is. This page and the
one on my main site read from the same list, so whichever one you
share stays accurate without me updating two places. The live one, Foundry, has its
own write-up .
The tool list needs JavaScript to filter. Here it is as plain text:
Foundry (Live): The shared design system every other tool on this page is built from: one dashboard shell, one set of accessible components, one theme, so a new idea starts from something proven rather than a blank Bootstrap template.
Estate (Beta): A property and premises register that follows each site from acquisition to closure, with its contracts, services, assets, documents, reminders, audits and compliance records attached to it.
Budget Tool (Beta): Upload budgets in whatever shape the spreadsheets arrived in, standardise them into one approved structure, then track them against actual spend and watch the variance move.
DICOM Viewer (In progress): Review medical imaging in a browser, annotate it against the case it belongs to, and keep an auditable record of both. Self-hosted, so the images never leave your control.
Planner (Beta): A place for a team to plan projects and tasks, with the notifications that mean work moves on without somebody having to chase it.
LeadTracker (Beta): A mapped, searchable database of England’s NHS commissioning landscape (every ICB, PCN, GP practice and GP federation on one map), with the live tenders, funding and contacts a business-development team needs kept against the organisation they belong to.
All-in-One Business Hub (In progress): Tasks, finance, estates, an intranet and incident management behind one login, one organisation model and one set of permissions, instead of several tools that disagree with each other.
Learning Platform (In progress): Set up licences, put your people through training, and prove afterwards exactly who completed what: the part that matters when somebody asks.
VMI & Transport Scheduler (In progress): Recurring customer visits, annual leave, cover assignment and frequency compliance in one schedule, with a full audit trail you can undo and redo.
Signature Tool (Beta): Staff pick a template, fill in their details, and get an email signature that looks right wherever it’s opened: desktop, webmail, or a phone.
Family Hub (Beta): A shared household calendar, chores worth points, reusable checklists and household finances the grown-ups can see, with PIN-protected profiles so children who have no account of their own still get their own view. Built for the tablet on the kitchen wall.
Case Manager (Prototype): A configurable case management platform for firms that run their work as cases (legal, medico-legal, claims and rehabilitation teams), where case types, stages and fields are set up by an administrator, not built by a developer.
Patient Manager (In progress): A fast, simple clinic booking and patient-records system for multi-location clinic groups: calendar and room booking, patient and referrer records, and clinical notes that can’t be quietly edited after the fact.
Trackify (Prototype): Sends a sequence of video content to a named person, records that they genuinely reached the end of it, and collects a structured response afterwards. Used two ways from one codebase: training modules for companies, recovery protocols for clinics.
JobSpace (In progress): Any organisation gets its own branded recruitment site (its own web address, its own colours) where staff post jobs and review applications, and candidates register once and apply everywhere they see it.
WatchLine (Beta): A public map of traffic cameras, CCTV and other public-safety camera infrastructure across the UK, built from openly available sources and verified submissions, so the public, police and solicitors can find out what footage might exist near an incident, and who to ask.
GroupSpace (In progress): Real-time location sharing, an activity feed, discussions and event/convoy coordination for a group of any kind (family, a club, a convoy, a community) in one shared space with one login.
Project Tracker (In progress): A multi-tenant time-tracking and scheduling tool for organisations that bill or budget by the hour: a manager schedules who’s on what, the person logs against it in one click, and planned versus actual against budget hours is visible the moment it’s submitted.
Finance Tool (In progress): A multi-tenant finance platform that gives an organisation with several legal entities one place to build budgets, track spend against them, and route approvals, instead of a spreadsheet per department and a rebuild every time a business is acquired.
Service Management (Idea): A configurable service-desk platform giving an organisation one intake form and one queue for anything a staff member would otherwise report into separate IT, compliance or facilities ticket systems, with breach risk computed automatically from severity and elapsed time, not tracked by hand.
Expense Manager (Prototype): Staff submit expense claims (receipts, invoices, mileage) from a phone, and each one routes to the right approver automatically, with a threshold that escalates straight to a CFO or COO when it needs to.
PO Manager (Prototype): Raise a purchase requisition, see it checked against real budget headroom before it’s approved, and match what arrives and what’s invoiced against what was ordered. Before payment, not after.
Marketool (Beta): Social-media banners and slideshow videos for property listings, built from an agency’s own listings feed or its own photos: pick a property, pick a design and the brand colours, and download a PNG or an MP4 ready to post.
Incident Tracker (Prototype): Incident reporting for organisations with more than one site, healthcare-adjacent first. The foundations are in (accounts, Microsoft sign-in, two-factor, organisations and their sites); reporting, response targets and the evidence record come next.
Airwave (In progress): Software for running a small internet radio station from one control panel: a music library, automatic playout with advert breaks, live and pre-recorded shows, and one stream link that plays in a browser and on a smart speaker. Accounts and sign-in are built; nothing plays yet.
Curious how any of this actually gets decided or built? The
full site has the rest: who I am, where I’ve worked, and how
to get in touch.
